Is it true that some categories in Digg help you get faster in Google than others?

Not that I know of. Best bet would be to put your link on 5+ social bookmarking sites. Lots of tools out there to automate this.
 
Ya I would have to agree. Check out senuke and bookmarkdemon on the forums.
 
For some reason my Digg posts don't seem to be getting on Google's first page any more. :(
 
I dont think so I have few pages on digg and it sometime appears on Top of the digg but never get it on the google.
 
every submission I make goes to the top of google. My blogs go from non-existent to mini-powerhouses over night. Its all about getting a network of friends. But at the same time their is a formula to digg. Learn the formula and you will have no problems getting rapidly indexed and rising to the top. Best of luck.. I'm heading to sleep for the night.
 
Oh yeah so that's what I've been forgetting. I've only been getting one digg and I thought it won't make a difference getting more diggs since I won't make it to the first page but even if I don't I will get more backlinks and that will help me get in Google. Thanks for telling me this!
 
My experience is digg usually get my new site indexed in google within 6 hours.
