So I'm having some difficulty setting up wordpress so that Its not ina subdirectory.

    I'm using 000webhost.com

I am tired to guess and check so I was wondering if someone could help...

where do I put all my wordpress files? in /public_html or in just the / ?

Also I have tried that and when I go to install WP again I get "
    Already Installed

You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first." <-- how do I deal with that? I don't know what to do.

Thanks for the help guys I've spent about 4 hours on this now googling, going through WP's website, and on here. Getting frustrated with this chit

edit: I may have got it... not sure yet we'll see

You may have to get your host to sort it. Sounds like you deleted fantasticodata file from a previous wp install, and yes the files go in public_html.
