    Hi,

As I go by ahrefs and serpbook and retrieve information on my domain. I get different results for my domain with the www. prefix and the one without it.
It is a 4 weeks old domain and it's my first MNS so don't worry about my skills as the rank and other SEO stuff is to low for you.

    Serpbook Main Keywords Ranking
    domain.com : Google: Not Found, Yahoo : 13
    www.domain.com: Google : 130, Yahoo: 13

    Ahrefs Backlinks:
    domain.com : 487 BL's, 6 referring domains.
    www.domain.com: 339 BL's, 6 reffering domains.
Number of reffering domains is the same?

How is this difference and not being searchable on Google created or originated from? Who can help?
And in the future should I only create BL's to my domain.com instead of the www.domain.com?

    Thanks in advance,
    Help the newbie out!

http://www.domain.com -> the "www" part is a subdomain which is commonly mistaken to be somehow part of the actual domain. It's the same with "blog", "111", "anyrandomcharstring" or anything you want :) It has nothing to do with your domain name unless you redirect 'domain.com' to 'www.domain.com'

myawesomeblog.blogger.com -> "myawesomeblog" is to the blogger domain as "www" is to yours.

If you have a shady link building technique I suggest you have "www" directing to "domain.com" and build links to the "www" subdomain. In case of a penalty it can be deleted and "domain.com" will be easily reindexed.

You should 301 one www to non www or non www to www.
