difference between pva and non youtube pva ?

Sorry for the noob question but its been a while since ive been in the youtube market and when i was in it youtube wasn't doing PVA's .. so whats the difference and what are you allowed and not allowed to do ?

A PVA just makes your YT account look more legit and you have a lower chance of getting banned. Some people think it helps, I personally don't have enough experience with it yet.

There is no real difference.

Having it phone verified would make it easier to recover if you ever forgot the password or got hijacked.

by phone verify your youtube account(s) will enable you to upload more than 15 minutes video length
as stated on

you will notice "remove limit" on non pva youtube accounts (or just created with gmail pva) on the upload video page..

Thanks. Never knew this, mine was removed by YT one day a couple years back. Never did a phone verification for the account.
