Difference between buying guest post and backlinks?

So, can someone explain to me key difference between guest post buying and backlinks? What are guest posts and what is backliks? What is better preforming between these two?
Im looking something to buy, but right now im little confused and i cant find answer.

Guest posts are simply a type of link and they are generally considered one of the more powerful link sources depending on where your guest post is published.

There are actually quite a few different link types that all serve a certain purpose and can work synergistically if used correctly.

Just to name a few:

• Editorial links (typically high-end editorial placements on authority sites such as Forbes, Guardian, BBC, etc.)
• Public relation links (typically acquired via journalistic outreach - e.g. HARO or direct outreach)
• Guest Posts (new posts on authority websites - typically acquired via outreach)
• Link insertions / niche edits (links in existing articles on authority websites - typically acquired via outreach)
• PBN links (usually homepagelinks from a so called 'private blog network' consisting of authoritative and relevant aged / expired domains)
• Crowd links (links from forums, social platforms, q&a sites, etc. - usually used for diversity)
• Static links (think of sidebar, header or footer link placements, typically rented from webmasters - e.g. sape)
• Web 2.0 links (typically links from free-to-create blog such as Tumblr, Wordpress, etc. - good for diversity, buffering or local campaigns)
• Social links (usually placed on social sites as part of the profile - great for general branding, ORM or local)
• Press release links (syndicated news articles that include a link to your site)
• Automated links (links created using software such as GSA SER, Scrapebox, xRumer, etc. - these are at the low end of the quality scale).

I probably forgot quite a few, but you get the idea.

guest post is content that you publish on someone else's website, and it can, or can't include a link that points back to your site (so, a backlink), depending on whether you want to include the backlink in that guest post (which you want to do, obviously, that's the only reason you're paying for that guest post), or whether the owner of the website giving you the guest post allows the inclusion of links pointing back to your site.

But if the owner of the site that publishes your guest post doesn't let you have a backlink inside of that guest post then you're being scammed 100%, because the only purpose of guest posting on someone else's website is to get a backlink from them so you can increase your site's authority (DR / DA / strength / whatever you want to call it) so that you can rank higher in google because google favors websites that - among other things - have many quality backlinks.

So everything is guest post, except testemonials, basic links on some sites where ads should be? Everything else is guest posting, right?

Guest Posts is an act of writing posts for a website by an external expert. This is done to increase traffic to your website and also to get high quality content to your site. Backlinks are all the links that you get to your site from external websites.

In simple words, guest post is to write a content and publish it on other person blog or website.But backlinks are the links that you get from other's websites to your website.

Take a look at the marketplace section. There you can find niche-relevant backlinks. Before purchasing links, request samples from the seller. Take a look at them & proceed if you're interested.

Otherwise, you can post your requirements in the HAF section, and someone will get in touch with you if they can help.
