Yes i got hit, actually got hit on several sites, not all though. Some only took minor dips, others wiped out completely. For the last two months done nothing but content marketing. Building infographics, writing articles, making videos, then sharing the content. Did some guest posting as well. Haven't submitted to a directory in forever, haven't commented on a blog in forever, haven't made a bookmark in forever, haven't published in an article directory in forever. However, those are all things we did months ago. The odd part is we had done that on all of our sites, but only some of them got hit. Others moved up, and dramatically. We had a site get nailed by Panda in the October update. Shot back up in this latest update. Totally inexplicable. But it isn't just my keywords or anything. No matter what you search on Google you find crap now. Their search results in general got much worse. Not sure what mistake was made but I have to believe it was a mistake. People as smart as Googlers don't intentionally ruin their own search results with spam when the goal was to eliminate spam. This is all I have to say- old SEO is dead. No such thing as link building any more. You have to do link earning. If you make a link or are responsible for a link being placed, it basically won't help anymore, in fact, it seems it will hurt you. Don't comment on a blog no matter how legitimately you do it. Don't save a bookmark to your site. Don't publish to any article directories. Don't submit to any directories. In fact, the only thing left to do is hope others link to you. Think Google created an even bigger market for paid links? Yup, they sure did. Also, hostile SEO is going to work really, really well so look into that. Basically make the most garbage junk you possible can and turn it into link farms. Pile spammy link on top of spammy link at your competitors and bring them down. Going to be a very worthwhile strategy moving forward.
