I just discovered that my site has lost almost all its rankings. I was ranking number one on Google for a number of keywords but I just tried all of them to my utter dismay. All the rankings are gone!!!

I thought my site was not affected by the Penguin update because while others were complaining, my site was doing well. But now it seems I have received the hammer as well.

What I want to find out now is this...Am I the only one affected by this? Is it the usual fluctuations we normally experience after which sites ranking returns to normal?

    What can I do now?

When did your serp go down? mine was about midnight last night, not sure google dance or penguin finally caught up to me.

The question is, is what type of SEO did you use to initially rank your site?

Were you in a coma? Google released 53 changes to search in April. Many are impacted by these changes.

    this happened to me yesterday.

friday i checked my ranking of my webiste which had very high ranking. I was doing .edu backlinking and also high PR backlinking, but on networks that "google doesn't know about". Saturday my site fell off the face of the earth
