So one of my jobs at my company is handling all of our social media. I have been brought in to brand and manage each social media site while others in the company are free to post to them. Last week I spent 2 days uploading, keywording, and organizing our page. I also went in a deleted all the people who didn?t follow us back so we could go follow new people who might be more keen on interacting. When I left work after day 2 I was very excited to see if our interactions jumped up or not, so at 10 pm I logged into the company pinterest to take a look. We used to get 1 repin a day max. The activity log was on fire with multiple users repinning my work at a rapid rate - the activity log used to be measured in days and now it was in minutes. So I logged out and went to bed happy. The next day I was super stoked to see pinterest and it was the first thing I checked when I got to work. The first thing I noticed is some of my board covers were missing completely. Second thing I noticed is a few of my newer boards had been deleted altogether including their contents. Third thing I noticed was the new pins I had done in the pre-existing boards were all gone. The final thing I noticed were a bunch of the people I had deleted had been readded and according to the activity log they were readded around midnight - just a few hours after I checked in. So, my question is this. Is there any way 66% of my work could have been deleted by a glitch? #2 is there any way to find out who deleted it? When I asked the other 3 coworkers with passwords 2 denied being on it at all and the third said she was adding people that night but not deleting. Thanks for the help!

    Was the content copyright protected?

It does not sound like a glitch to me at all.

You know, it was mainly from small blogs and tumblrs. We are talking about probably a few hundred images from different sources...

If I understood that article correctly the person writing it said they couldn't get any of their pins to show up. I actually had all of my pins show up at 6pm when I left work as well as 10 pm when I checked from home. On top of that, a few of my board covers were custom made and uploaded by me and had already been shared and repinned at 10pm...those were missing now as well from our pinterest but existed on the people's pinterest's who repinned it (although now it didn'tlink back to us because our image had been deleted) I'm sure most of you reading this are like "no brainer, some coworker got pissed and deleted everything" but since I have only worked here for a few weeks I want to make sure I am positive there was fould play before I go to the boss and explain why it looks like I did nothing for two days. Thanks again for the help!

Well, if it helps, we run campaigns for a lot of customers and this have never happened to us... chances are still there, but 99% sure it wasn't pinterest. Especially if the images are still up on the re-pinned accounts.
