If you use IPv6 only you will hardly get any visitors, as major ISPs are not providing IPv6 as the norm to subscribers, not many people will jump through the hoops of setting up an IPv4 - IPv6 tunnel just to visit a site unless they are both very technical and really want to see your website.

If you set up both IP versions with the correct A / AAAA records then you may get one or two more visitors but to be honest, stick to IPv4.

Just my opinion obviously, others mat have different views.

In the end we will all get IPv6 addresses to use and ISP / transit providers will have to provide support for it - sooner the better in my opinion :)

What do you mean by "performing well"? Is it in terms of ranking or DNS resolution or what?

No, it won't help if it's for search engine rankings.

Your website performance does not depend upon your ip address, are you hosting your website yourself?
