Did my max bench press a few days ago - 225 lbs :D!

    Yaaay :D. I'm not losing weight any more unfortunately because i'm still 220 something but I really don't want to lose my muscles. I absolutely dread cutting because when I'm low on carbs, the crazy really comes out of me and I feel super weird. So basically I'm doing as much cardio as I can and lifting occasionally.

    Guys, I swear to God meditation makes you stronger physically. I suspect it has something to do with improving muscle recruitment - making your nerves respond much better than average. I hadn't worked out my chest for a while due to a shoulder injury but I was feeling stronger than usual. Keep in mind I was used to barely doing 135 (1 plate). Anyway, I concentrated on my lower dan tien for a minute and felt the pulsing then moved the energy to my arms. Dude it was a bit scary but the adrenaline kicked in and I managed to do 2 plates. Yeehaw. The fucked up thing is that immediately after that it felt like the energy reserve I had in my ldt shrank by a lot and I was back to barely doing 135 again. Maybe I should just store this energy in my body in case of an emergency when I need it desperately. I do know that in time qigong masters are able to store enough so that in a crisis they can flip a car.

    Anyway, just posting my progress. How are you guys getting along?

    If there's something that would truly jack up my body more than drugs it's steroids. There's no way I'm putting this vessel through that kind of torture.

    Err mate - you got any sauce for the low carbs "myth"? The only time I lose weight consistently is when I keep my carbs low and proteins high.

    Congrats OP I remember when I did 2 plates in high school I felt like superman lol I havent worked out in 4 years tho.. smh I wonder if I can even do 1 plate now :(
