    hey guys,

I think I really screwed up my website because I might have over optimized it. I checked my keyword density of each article the and average was 3.3% density for my exact keyword.

Did I mess up or am I good? I haven't seen anything on Google webmaster yet.

    What can I do?

3% is close to ideal in my opinion, especially if the article is 700-1000+ words.
But that depends on your purpose. Since this is your site, just turn them into LSI (similar) keywords to be safe. For purely SEO it would be fine.
    Just my opinion.

Average length of articles are 500 words and it is pure seo site just to make money. Nothing else.

Keep writing the articles. Authority and trusted sites are deem to always have fresh content. Keyword density shouldn't be your top list of concern.

Can I just re-edit all of them or will it effect me in a bad way?

Ok I got that figured. I will just edit everything.

I am still very confused and do not want to be spoon fed here. But I have been searching for an answer to my other question:

I have the blog but with no main keyword. I just went straight ahead and started pumping articles for long tail keywords with no homepage article or anything like that. Also when I downloaded all in one seo, I put a list of all my keywords in the keyword sector and didn't fill out the description part.

When I also write my articles, I put my keyword in the title field in wordpress and then in the content field I put another title and change it to heading 1 which means <h1>

I couldn't find an answer to that in PHPBUILT's awesome thread. It will be great if someone could help me cut away some of my mistakes by clearing out some questions for me because I do not have enough money to be making this many mistakes.

    Thank you.

I don't really get your question here. But for my seo practise, I have 1 keyword in title in <h1>. When you first make sites that are seo-optimized, you always get seo mistakes and shit like that. What I did is I just change the content, then use the fetch by google in webmaster tool to notify the google bots.

It depends on your site, for me, I always tend to build authority site, so one bad article wouldn't affect me or my ranking at all.

Exactly on the same boat as binaryking. Keep posting, and everything will be all right.

is that the article or does that include links and categories? If its just the article you better trim it down. Easy way to do this is at the bottom of articles add 100 words of "about the author" and make it up for each one. This way you have added content and the keywords aren't screwing with the articles.

How many articles do you have? Just edit them and mark down your KW density to 1-2% depending on content.

I would keep the keyword density right at 3-4% where you have it mate. So I do not see any
problem with your articles. Maybe it is some backlinks you have been using?

Don't worry about it too much, 3% is ok. It may be slightly over optimized but I highly doubt you'll get a "keyword stuffing" penalty.
