Hey what's up guys.. so I can go ahead and say this, since I just bought it out on flippa. I bought a website which features dog training clips. The reason I bought it wasn't the actual site, (although it isn't very bad at all), but the BIN bonuses.

  1. Free Support For 3 months.
  2. 85 Niche Turnkey Websites.
  3. Each of these websites has tons of adsense ready articles
  • We'll send the entire bonus over in a zip file
  • You will have to find your own host and install each website yourself (very easy)
  • Many niches included: auto, asthma, dog grooming, dieting, computers, stocks, and many more.
DID I MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE?

This is my first time buying a site. I don't plan to flip it but instead monetize it. Please let me know your thoughts?

I imagine all of the bonus adsense sites they send to you will all be comprised entirely of PLR articles (duplicate content). So they'll probably be useless unless you replace the articles with original ones.

Definitely check with copyscape or something before you go buying tons of domains for them.

I definitely know what you mean. Yeah I'll take a look and see if I need to do some new articles. Even if I do, at least I'm a writer.

Oh right, your signature.
Oops. :tapedshut

So you obviously know what you're doing then, I'd say you made a fairly good purchase due to you being a writer.

Now it just depends on what they look like. Hopefully decent.

True. How much do you estimate I'll pull in ranking three different keywords on http://www.dogtrainingclips.com to first page?

Don't give out your niche like that, dude.

Anyways, sites usually go for 12x their monthly revenue (when they're relatively new).

The bonuses, as others have said, are worthless since you can get that stuff from the downloads section.

I am always wary of offers which also include tons of 'bonuses'. usually means the site itself is nothing special so they add some crappy sweeteners to get a sale! Hopefully that is not the case this time though.

If you are a writer then simply keyword research a niche, buy domain and setup your own site and create lots of content for it. Personally i do everything, research, build site, content and SEO and out source link building i can't do with Xrumer/Scrapebox.

Wow, you really need to learn to do your research before buying websites.

Your keyword gets < 10 searches in Google! So basically no one is searching that keyword!

Um... has he mentioned any of his keywords?

The number 85 rings a bell.
A couple of years ago there were 3 MRR packages with 85 Adsense/Niche ready sites.
They are all over the Net these days.
Sorry man to rain on your parade.

If you had to ask that question then no, you didn't make the right choice.

I always make 200% sure a venture I choose is the "right" choice before I spend anything on it. Next time head over to the WF and buy niche sites with unique auto posted content and sell them on flippa.

Now that's a good choice :D

Read post number 5! :p

Hm... I don't see any keywords there.

Either way, now that I think about it, the site is just a bunch of random videos with almost no content.

The '3' keywords are obviously the three words in the domain name!

Well, people like the cute dogs, so I think you did ok. Good luck on it. I do think you will need some more verbiage on the clips to help on seo though.

Crucial piece of information is missing, and that's how much he paid.

If it was $20 it was a good deal, $200 probably not.

At this point though what's done is done and there's no point in crying over spilled milk. Gotta see what you can make of it, and worst scenario you get an experience you can learn from.

First off, assuming that I am using the three keywords in my domain name is a huge no. I'm not going to give my keywords out. :p

Second, yeah I know I shouldn't generally give my niche away, but it's a decently competitive market as is, so yeah.

Third, I did pay a decent amount for this unfortunately. I don't want to disclose it, but will I have a problem pulling $70-100 off of this per month, if I'm ranking 3 different keywords to page 1? It's semi-low competition for these keywords.
