I just purchased a 9 year old domain, (expired 1 month ago) for $1.

    Thanks SB!!!

    No backlinks yet!

Even though it was expired, I still get credit for the 9 years, correct?

Quick question: How can you check domain age?

    Thanks!

I lucked out last week too, got one off snapnames.com in bidding for $59, it's 8 years old and exact phrase keyword is 22,000 per month, and in my niche.

Yeah it will be counted as a 9 years old domain.

One thing you must check before buying an expired domain is the waybackmachine data and other domains stats like if it is blacklisted by Google or not etc.

    Good luck :)
