I'm not in Pak but this would be some pretty strong anti-media movements if they have it their way

I think at times like this we all need to be grateful we weren't born into a shit-hole place like Pakistan.

yea for real, if you look throughout history religion has caused more wars, deaths, and complete bullshit than anything else. theres no point in living life by a set of rules set by something or someone that no one even knows for a fact exist.

Obama?s Administration is trying to turn the internet in to a utility so they can regulate it, that means your isp provider can tell you what you can and can not write watch and so on?there will be no more free will on the internet if they can get the net neutrality bill passed. when obama said he was days from transforming the country he was not lying :09:

Oh but it will, because we as Americans want to be safe from terrorists. We'll agree with the patriot act, and regulation of the internet.

That blows, but I think we all know and realize freedom is slowly getting taken away in one way or another. Regardless I still and always will prefer being in the USA over a country like Pakistan though.

I don't think it has anything to do with that, the majority of Americans don't agree with that shit. If they want it to pass it will pass, not because Americans want it, but because they have the power to do whatever they want. It's like voting, doesn't mean shit anymore, it goes however they want it to go.

This is the internet and it is nearly impossible for anyone to regulate it, or for any one country to ban access to certain sites. With just a little bit of know how you can bypass all the restrictions, even without the know how bit, as long as you can use and read Google.
