Did Google Page Rank Update of November 2012 Gone Wrong ?

Hello Pals ,
Actually I know what Google is and there are very few chances of them getting wrong . But I find something unexpected from November 2012 Google PR Update . I made a blog with .org domain 2 Months ago . However I have nearly 40 Articles with Unique content but I haven't made any backlinks for this blog .
However after creating a blog post I share it to Digg,Stumbleupon,Facebook,Twitter,Pinterest,Tumblr and create a related article at zimbio . Also to promote my post I comment on 5-7 blogs of my niche which have Comment Luv plugins , So I get 4-5 No Follow links for my every article .
So Here are some details about my blog :-
Niche :- Blogging , SEO And Technology
Platform :- Wordpress
Domain Age :- 2 Months
No Directories Submissions or Backlinks like Forum Profile or Alexa etc paid back links .
Traffic is also very low , Nearly 40-50 Visits/ Day only . So with this stuff I wasn't expecting even PR 1 from this PR Update but it make me to think twice when I check my page rank Its PR 3 now. Isn't it amazing and same happened with my friend's blog who even doesn't comment on any blog or nor writes unique content . His blog is also 2 Months old .
So that's all guys it makes me to thin that Google November 2012 Page Rank update gone wrong. What you guys think ? Please tell me is it a bug or have I done any magic ?

You seem to have done a fair bit of backlinking when compared to my 2 month old .com domain that got to PR3 with hardly any backlinks to speak of (just 1 PR was syndicated) and the content is pretty thin too on the site (4-5 pages of unique content).

So is it a genuine PR or it would get PR 0 in next update ? And should I now give a do-follow link to my guest authors from their articles ?
