Not sure if this is related but two days ago analytics showed zero traffic to some of my sites and I thought that my hosting has been down but then next day analytics was updated and showing expected traffic. Might be as commented by trafficsource that analytics is not working properly.

updates all the time, google it, they are constantly tweaking things. There is a thread like this everyday, usually nothing to do with updates but sites falling foul of the existing algorithm, that undeniably changes, but is essentially the same thing.

There was a bug in Google Analytics on 6th or 7th so that's why you seeing 0 visitors that day

Ever since Anglo Rank they've been here social engineering information out of link providers.
Also look out for folks requesting samples.

I feel like hiding reports is more to make the customer feel like they are safe. I don't think google needs reports to discover networks. If I can figure out what new links are coming into my site without a report, I'm sure the owner of the biggest search engine can too, you know, without a report.
