has gaypal done away with the releasing of your funds after the product has been delivered to the customer? i have several sold items that have been delivered but the money is still on hold even after several days of proven delivery.

    wwwaaiit...whhhh..at? What's this?

It's been awhile since I've sold anything with Paypal...what do you mean they hold your money? Is this just if they buy stuff through you on eBay? Or for anything you sell through Paypal?

OP's talking about selling through ebay, but paypal can also hold your money/limit your account even if you sell something outside ebay, if something is triggering their "security" system, don't you know that?!

Yeah they still do that 21 days BS. I think its just when you first sell something on a new Ebay sellers account. Whats BS is I had that Ebay account linked to that Pay pal for at least 4 years.

So I sold, and only had a couple of dollars left on hold, which was showing in the account summary for days, and then one day I logged in and it was gone. No shit, I'm not kidding. I emailed them and its been a week & they havent responded.

I have been having problems w/ gal pal lately. Even w/ digital products.

What is the best alternative that is widely used? Especially amongst IMers. Moneybookers? Alert Pay?

Like I mentioned, it's been awhile since I used Paypal...do they hold ALL your money? Or just some of it. Last time I used them, I think they were holding like 10% of your money for 60 days.

I just went to their website, but am having a hard time finding any info on what they hold/how long.

Their help section sucks, as always

    what ru talking about now:
    ebay+paypal
    or just paypal?

paypal can hold all your money what you have in your account = limit your account for sending, receiving, withdrawing funds for 180 days, if something is triggering their security system and you can't provide the proofs they need to lift up the limitation, or they can freeze your account for good if they see fit, but it's a different thing than the ebay hold

EBay and papal knows of a forum that help people with eBay and papal bans etc. So they counter react everything they learn from that forum. Each workaround they find we always counter react then week month later paypal eBay Does the same thing and close loophole. It's a never ending battle. I watches over 5 years as this cat and mouse game played out. Never ending battle

    I mean BOTH...ebay and ebay + Paypal

You say they CAN hold all your money. I guess I"m a lil confused here. Here's my official NEW question lol:

Does paypal hold all of your money for every single transaction now whether it's ebay + paypal or just paypal transactions(i.e. selling digital products)?

OR, do they just hold your funds if you get complaints?

Awhile back, I messed around with dropshipping on eBay, but didn't care for it too much ...how in the world would a person do dropshipping now if Paypal holds all your funds? (guess you'd have to have a ton of startup capital huh?)

Look papal Been holding money 21 days for year now. It took me 4 months to nave my 21 day hold removed. U have to prove yourself I guess.

I remember a workaround that they closed loophole. Refund the customer .01 and then the hold would be off that transaction. U would loose a penny but have your money. Don't work no more. Most are keeping the secrets to themselves now just like here .

Everytime me or others share workaround it would get closes fast

    ok :)
let's say you sold something on ebay, everything went good, you got your money in your pp and you also sold something outside ebay, let's say an ebook on DP and let's say your customer has an unverified paypal account what he used to pay you, so now you have money in your pp after this two transactions, clear? bad news: paypal can/will hold all your money what you have in your account and limit you, because of your customer used an unverified paypal on DP to buy your ebook (yea, it can be enough for paypal to limit your account)
so they will limit all the money you have in your account, not just the amount what you got after your ebook but the amount you got after your ebay transaction however everything went smooth and there wasn't any problem with it

so now you have all your money stucked in paypal and if you can't provide proofs, they will hold your money for 180 days and just after this waiting period you will be able to withdraw the funds
