I know this is a old talk that google last year announced that they will prioritises https site over http..

Please share what you know ?

You won't see much of a change, just 1 out of the 200+ things google checks.

New from google any website with an ssl gets a 5% boost for Seo you will start to notice on website they will being showing searchers if the website is secure or not with a green box I front of the url. They are also using the secure factor to show authority. Not a huge difference but every bit counts. I can't post a link because I'm to new but google it and you will see

I asked this as i am from such a niche that there is nothing to encrypt between the user end and my website .. But very few of website in this niche is having https only few authority ones out-there have it. and i mostly target very easy keywords only , so i thought adding a https would boost my keyword like hell... He he he he may be i am wrong... But for a poor guy like me a dedicated IP and SSL ($150 BLUEHOST) is quite big amount for me...

SSLs can be obtained for free nowadays. Look up letsencrypt in Google

yep you are right but still need to be dedicated ip.. i am on shared hosting...

Thankyou guys for al of your replies i have the answer now

As of my own experience, it doesn't change much, or should I say it doesn't even change at all. Just like what Google said in their statement, there will be a "slight" ranking boost of HTTPS sites. But on the other side, it's still good to switch to HTTPS since it's the "secure" one and it's very likely to increase your ranking over time.
