Hi guys, my rank dropped 2 points in the last 2 weeks from 2 to 4 position and i wonder if AMR (article marketing robot) blasts could hurt it or competitors got up points.

Did anybody had downrank experiences after blasting (spun) articles?

    Another question:
Do you always schedule slow blasts or just blast an article at once to a thousand of directories? At first i did 100/hour, and now just blast with stops after 300 posts or so.

ARM? you mean AMR? and no I havent lost ranking. Atm I have only done AMR blast (about 10 article submission not even scheduling just all at once) google has indexed about 500/4000 Links and more later. I am already ranking for hard keyword and gettign some traffic through the articles themselves. I did no other promotion except some scrapebox comment (about 200) which was bad mistake since it was direct but hey link diversity is needed and got it from no follow spammy blogs :)

I disappear for like 2 days but than came back better than before.

Yes, I meant AMR (article marketing robot).
Would like to hear from more users, if the rank (up) is sustainable for them. Yes, i SB article links after posting.

No what sometime happens is a google dance but never lost a position.

Just think google would not have a algorythm that can be used to harm your competitors.

With AMR Blasts, sometimes you will notice your site drop rankings/fall out completely, but appear usually a few weeks to a month later. I did a few blasts recently, and with pages which weren't in the top 40 pages, didn't appear til around a month later, and they went to the first few pages and have settled there.

The increase in ranking depends on how competitive the keyword is your targeting, plus how optimised is the site/page your promoting. If you have just done the blast, it's like any link building, let it settle, and you should see an improvement.

I blast all in one go. Then I immediately do a livelink report, and get about 350 live links, which I then use elsewhere to help indexing.

To be honest i've never followed competitors' SEO tactics. Just minding my own biz and get to top 5 in 2 weeks lately...

What tools do you use and what process do you follow to observe competitors' tactics?

I guess you are not up to date yet :)
Here is a quick tip from the Google Panda update : If the same article is posted to all the directories , it is now considered spam .
Solution : Rewrite you article before submitting ( best spinner comes in handy )
Also another quick tip : Grab the live links that your have and blast them Scrapebox and/or Xrumer .

It's probably just G Dance. I would continue with link building and adding content to your site. You'll probably find that your SERPs are up again next week.
