Got a page on my site deindexed, and I can't seem to get it re-indexed no matter how hard I try, so now I am trying one last option and redirected the page to a different domain

My question is, what else do I do? Do I leave the old page up or delete it? And if I do keep it, what about content? Does on page SEO still matter for that page?

And finally, do I keep backlinking the old page, or the new site?

put this in the .htaccess on deindexed site
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteRule (.*) http://yournewsite.com/$1 [R=301,L]

make sure the new site is copy of deindexed site
you will need to change link structure and name

if it is wordpress you will need to edit mysql to change all the links
