    Quick Intro

I'm a computer science engineering graduate and I've been seeking work for the last couple of weeks, but haven't found anything interesting mainly because all the offers I get are below $800 in salary per month which is nothing compared to the work I'il be doing for them.

Today I've got another offer for $750 per month and it got me feel sooo ANGRY that I promised myself to make $1000 per month on my own without any company, after that I'il build my own business.

So now to the real question :

HOW ARE YOU PLANNING TO MAKE 1K A MONTH ?

I il do what I'm good at : Build a software :D and sell it on clickbank and post it on JVZoo to attract affiliates.

    What does the software ?

Right now I have no idea what to build. But feel free to post whatever problems you have regarding IM and I'il see if I can build a solution that addresses your issue.

I'il keep this thread weekly updated so subscribe and stay tuned !

You are applying to the wrong jobs then? Where abouts are you located in the states? I'm an IT Headhunter, in the UK and we pay grads £40-50k basic for iOS and Android Engineers. React is in hot demand, so you should be in the 50k region which is around $65,000. The US market actually pays higher than the UK as well, I have a few clients over in New York and SF.

So to be completely honest, you are either applying for the wrong jobs, not interviewing very well or not as good as you think you are. But Mobile Engineers are in such high demand, you should have no problem anyway.

Bro Im from Morocco, Not the US, Not the UK. MOST of the developers in Morocco aren't very skilled, that's why companies do not provide good salaries, so when skilled people apply, they get treated the same way as none skilled ones.
But in order to prove to you that Im really skilled even as a JUNIOR. I'd love it if you check out my resume.

I was using the UK as a reference point to the salaries, I assumed you were US as you are talking in dollars. Anyway, I don't specialise in the Moroccan market so can't advise, one thing to offer is remote working from Morocco for companies in the UK and USA. Instead of them paying £60k to an engineer, they can pay you half that to work remotely and you still earn £2500/month. Use LinkedIn to speak to CTO's and IT Recruiters in Morocco as they will have a better view of the market in Morocco than myself.

Regarding the resume, you are better off creating projects on GitHub etc and showcasing your work through that. Particularly as an iOS engineer, showcase apps you've built. Swift is also in demand too, so play around with it in your spare time if you haven't already.

    Good luck

mobile development is in hot demand in the world, especially IOS ...

you said you are from morocco and as I know there is no schools that teach Ios in 3rd countries...

so my suggestion is to try to work as freelancer as add projects in your portfolio, ... even try to have an online degree for udacity or any good website about coding from US...

then you can ask the salary you want...

Have you considered stackoverflow careers? There you will get the best it companies looking for developers, mainly. Some of those jobs are remote position jobs too!! Try that out.

If three years ago you had made a simple web crawler you could have raked in 40,000$ a month.

    • Update
Last night I've spoken with a very talented IM guru that was in my shoes once, he kept me motivated and provided me with great advice on how to choose a good product idea and launch-related stuff.

I was in a very bad condition last week because of all the disappointments and failures I've been through but I finally feel like I have a purpose again.

Keep posted guys ! regular updates coming !
