For the last several months there has been an increase in the level of immaturity and overall useless posts, and according to some, mine may fall into that category. We have taunts, insults, incivility, and very little in the way of contributions. More questions than answers, which is not to say people should be spoon fed. I mean when you have people continually refusing to read the rules and put up stupid requests it gets old.

Bottomline I am tired of coming here and just about everytime seeing some fool post about CPA trading, or lead filling, or lead fraud, and then acting like they thought the central premise of this site was fraudulent activity. I am not among the top ten or even likely top ten percent in intelligence here. If some of the people here ran the world a lot of the problems could be solved, and while there is still a wealth of information, many of the newer posts are inane and time wasting. I hope the big players come back and post more often, but until then, I may have to restrict my visits. A good example is a post called "What is Your Favorite Sex Position?" Since I have learned that many minors come here to post, I have tried to watch my language and subject matter. This type of post, even if in the Lounge, is not why I come here. I like to consider my contributions useful, and if not that, at least thought out and constructive. I encourage all members to consider what I am saying.

Buddyboy, I feel ya. It's annoying if you are looking for something useful, to have to sift through 'fun' threads like the sex position thing.

At the same time, I actually like a lot of the threads posted in the Lounge, just because it breaks things up. Get lots of LOLZ from those posts.

I think some of the useless posts can be attributed to newbs trying to increase their post count so they can gain credibility within the community. It's kind of silly, IMO, because it's pretty easy to gauge someone's experience level by what they write in their PM...the post count/stars doesn't play into whether I think they are smart or not.

If newer members aren't allowed to ask questions you're going to scare them off. Teaching the newer members is a great way to get them to teach you. You never know if that newbie asking you about CPA trading or craigslist is making some serious money online. Based on my post and thread history you may think I know nothing or make nothing, but how can you be sure?

Personally, I'm waiting for some kind of information on here to help me immensely before sharing anything major that I may know and when I ask simple questions and members who are supposedly respected come in and get all uptight about a question being asked twice it makes me sometimes just want to leave.

I'm not saying I haven't seen a slight decline in the helpfulness of this site, I'm simply saying that you can read thread titles. If you don't want to answer that question about CPA trading or lead filling, (and the person is knowledgeable about forums) you can determine that it is about these topics without even having to open them.

Asking questions are fine, but these people are destroying CPA, and no matter how many times the admins warn to stop there is some dumbass ready to come on here and sully our rep further. That is my main complaint, people screwing up CPA payouts with teh stoopid. It makes legit blackhattery even harder.

This thread will most probably be flamed a couple of posts below, but I have to say that I absolutely agree with you, the reality is that this deterioration is unavoidable, when you have a forum like BHW so rich in information, people will be interested to be apart of it when they become aware of it's existence, it is inevitable that a forum like this will begin to attract everyone, at first it may very well be that this was a forum for internet entrepreneurs and people actively interested in marketing research and implementation, but with the gained popularity of both blackhat marketing techniques and online business's, every conceivable kind of internet user will be drawn to here with the ridiculous mindset of making money online without investment, without work, and these people will be greatly enraged and disappointed when it's pointed to them that there is no such thing as becoming rich asking how to do it and hoping to be spoon fed a step by step tutorial on how to do it.

This forum has free information and tools available for everyone to read and use that all combined is worth millions of dollars if not more, the information that can be found here for free is being sold everywhere for price ranges that go from $20 to $2000 or more per copy.

In my opinion the real problem here are the kids, the kids who come here and corrupt the greatness of this forum on every conceivable way, I do not mean to offend some of them that are really here in a constructive way, but the truth is that this forum is polluted with over 80% of kids and 95% of them are stupid, ignorant people that will never make a dollar online.

I believe we have to find a solution to this forum fast before this forum completely turns into a second DP or worse, but I honestly cannot see what this solution would be, if this forum becomes paid, it still won't keep the kids away, they'll keep on coming, age verification is worthless on the internet and we all know it.

But I leave here my strong disappointment about the kind of people that is being allowed in here, as well as a note to everyone about the urgent need of change!

Well, rumor has it that registrations are closed anyways, so that will help. I agree that helping people is definitely useful, I had no clue what to do when I first came and even common abbreviations that everyone takes for granted - CL, BP, AC - some people don't know what they are.

I think that if they are asking stupid shit questions like how can I make X in X amount of days they should just be banned, that's just pure laziness. As I mentioned, stupid questions should be tolerated but not lazy ones.

Also people should start using Google for christs sake. I saw one thread that was something along the lines of "I have www.domain.com, I have tried everything like building links and that stuff, it still isn't indexed, help" they should either Google or use the search (however unhelpful it might be at times.)

I couldn't agree more. My heart sank when I saw the thread in the Lounge proving to me what I already suspected - that many of the members here are 15 or below. It is a simple fact of life that people of that age tend to make poorly formed and structurally disorganised posts / threads that bring down the quality of the forum.

What annoys me the most, however, are threads in broken english. This is an english forum and members should ensure they are fluent in english before they make a thread or post.

But as for whether there has been a real deterioration, I am not so sure. It seems like the number of quality threads - and the participation of the respected members - has gone down in the few months since I became a member. However, this might simply be an effect of me having read everything of interest to me.

Could be fixed with a "required" viewing of a video briefly or totally explaining rules, and how to behave for new people or everyone.

Leave it to the mods to record it.

IMHO it would solve a lot of your concerns.

    Worth a try at least.

Have you noticed how many of the "heavy hitters" have been banned in the last few months?

I think the pool of knowledge has shrunk quite a bit. Are registrations really closed? That

might help, last I heard, there are over 30,000 members of BHW now.

I just checked and registration is still open.

I have noticed that too. Even though I've been a member here a few months, I've noticed a change. Although, I will say that BHW is still one hell of a place to learn tactics. The raw knowledge/intelligence here is astounding.

Closed registration may be a good idea.

    I agree with this thread.

I will also say that immaturity has nothing to do with age.

In a forum this size, you will always have a small number of people that are immature and do not take advantage of this great opportunity.

I think the majority of people who come here are looking for tips, methods, and assistance to make money. And there are alot of people who are very generous with their advice.:)

I do think things will get better when school starts again. I do notice both here and on other
forums I belong to, that in summer things get bad, and then the younger members go back to school and don't have as much time to spend.

I agree with you about the age/maturity thing. I admire some of the younger
members that take action because no one has ever told them that it can't be done :) It just amazes me when I hear about a 12 or 13 year old that starts making 2 and 3k a month. The only downside, as I see it, is they don't
bother to learn to cover their tracks and don't care if they get caught. This
makes it harder for those of us who would like to stay under the radar and do this long term.

That is an atrocious stereotype, why would younger members not cover their tracks? Although it is quite funny when someone makes a post and it goes somewhere along these lines...

"I just made 5k and Hydra banned me!"

"Did you cover your tracks? DMR? CPAR?

    "What are those?"

And whoever said they hated posts in broken english, I completely agree, this is an english forum. People just type their message, translate, post, and then translate responses.

Age does contribute to the immaturity of the forum. Examples: Silencer (13 y/o)

However, just because you are 14 doesn't mean you are immature. It's just that the majority of 14-year-olds are immature.

    Blackhatworld is slowly changing.

I recommend making it a membership forum, to keep blackhat marketing a little less saturated.

I di not think so much of an age issue. Or foreign. People want to look big and important. They do some big out of their butt talking without having any idea about marketing and then others take the misinformation and run with it. It becomes cyclical. American adults are just as culpable for hyperbole as anyone else. I just would suggest a post quality score, and have those threads maintain higher visibility levels.

And to not forget that a answered question can change at any given moment. Black hatting is always about being 10 steps above the norm. So complaining about dumb noob's ruining cpas is because the info they are getting is from the search button and is old and the new stuff we are not sharing until we are done with it.

Yes but the rules about CPA circles are quite clear. I think that enforcement should be stepped up on posting violations.
