Lets say I have a page on my site I want to rank using a link pyramid and the keywords I want to rank for it being:
    big red dog
    big red dog collars
    big red dog leashes

Do I just use those and maybe some more random very similar phrases to link all of the web 2.0's together? How do you do it?

Also, people are saying definately manually submit the first tier of web 2.0's. What aspect of the manual submission is the important part?

How do you pick which web 2.0's you submit to? Do you only submit to ones that allow them to be blasted with xrumer links? I've heard many sites moderate and ban the ones that do. Do you have a list of ones that don't?

When making another pyramid for the next page on your site, you just submit to different ones?

So Tier 2 web 2.0's going to the tier 1's don't need to be manual? Why is it ok for them to be automated?

It's hard to know what is right because there are so many differing opinions of how they should be set up.

I wish someone would detail the process they use step by step, but only if you've used it successfully to rank multiple keywords to #1 position. The people on here who haven't created link pyramids have no clue how to do it correctly. Can you save us some time & a bunch of testing to let us know the things you've learned and why it's important to do it in that way?

    Thank you!
