I am an affiliate of a platform where I think is very profitable. But I'm not making any sales so I decided to start a giveaway where I will choose two people to win $50 if they refer a certain amount of people to sign up under their referral link and if their referrals will make a purchase (at least one or two). Is this going to work?

I have also tried adwords and bing ads but I'm having problems with adwords as I spent a test campaign of $100 and I don't see a single lead. Am I doing something wrong? Bing ads are the same. I need some insights please. Thank you!

What solution are you offering? Maybe your product isn't good enough.

The product is all about marketing. You can build funnels using their site and it sells for around $50 and $35.

Yes, I have worked with several affiliate programs that offer prize intensives, and they do tend to get more business. However most these affiliate programs are offering high end watches and smart phones.

I'm planning on offering money for the site just to go viral. Will that really work? Am I not wasting resources?

I doubt it will go viral, it just gives affiliates an incentive to push your product harder. But they will not push harder, if your product does not convert well for them.

I'm not the product owner btw. I'm also an affiliate that's looking to sell. Adwords results aren't that good for me either. I'm looking up at the library here but not much luck. I'm thinking of doing FB ads.

My saying always goes "If YOU can't sell your own product, no one else will be able to".

Of course, it seems as if this isn't your own product, but still you get the point. Adding 'free money' might help I guess, but you need to carefully evaluate your product and your marketing efforts.

Thanks. I get your point but seeing as how many successful affiliates have made sales over this product makes me think that my efforts aren't good enough

What are you basing this on? If it's stats that the product owner is giving out, it could be rubbish.

Make sure your advertising is highly targeted as it sounds like it's a product that is aimed at a specific target market.

Revisit your conversion path or landing page - be critical of your own process. Does it actually look professional, or are you just too proud of it to admit it's shit? Would a conversion funnel work better than a pure lander, etc etc. Test different landing pages and types of landers if you aren't already.

Finally, set a maximum for your test budget and when you hit that, without any conversions, stop. Don't let your own belief in the product get in the way if the stats are telling you it doesn't convert.

Yes, I was basing on what I've been seeing on his site. I know reviews could be faked but I actually know someone who got successful with the help of this tool. I would accept criticism and would be glad to improve my site in every way possible. Can I PM you the link instead? Thanks.

You are more than welcome to send the link over to me and I will offer what suggestions I can. I don't claim to be an expert, but an extra pair of eyes can certainly help.

Either way I firmly believe that the key to success with any venture like this is to test everything, and track everything as well. This ensure that you can see what it working, identify your drop off points and make the necessary improvements.

Can you see what others promoting the same offer are doing? Can you see where they are advertising?

Thanks man. I'm sending you the link now.

Unfortunately, no I can't take a look at what others are doing. Even the guy I know don't want to tell me or show me his progress. Only his current stats using that tool. I understand that its their gold mine so I respect that. I've been doing tests but I think that I'm just throwing money and time away for nothing.
