I thought you could download torrents from Demonoid without having an account? If yes, whats the point of having an account?

I can't download torrents from them when I was not a member of them yet.

 

i used to be able to download from them through torrentpond.com when i wasnt a member. but they dont have them in their list of torrent sites anymore. lukily i was able to join a few months back

 

what is so good about demonoid than in other torrent sites?

 

They have torrents exclusively uploaded in their site. But I heard some torrents are leaked to other public torrent sites after some days/months.

Yeah Demonoid has some great quality controls in place.

They are hands down the best torrent site.
