Is there a way to deliver a video (say over email) that can only be viewed once? So as soon as it's watched, it's locked or won't play again.

    Thanks!

I think the easier way is to set the password protected video file. So only users who have password can watch video.

What if the user doesn't have the time to watch the whole video at that time and decides to do it later after he viewed it for 30 seconds ?

You could use self hosted videos and a custom php script, or password protected YT video

Or what if the viewer accidentally closed the video, that could happened. :)

Since you haven't mentioned any programming language, i'm sure there are many ways in Java or C# etc, that could accomplish this.

or why not make it like 'this can only be viewed for 3 days' or so. Just like some of those software with trial days before users decided to purchase.

here are some discussions on stackoverflow about implementing a free trial period for a program. hope this helps.
