If worse comes to worse, most computers have system restore settings and you can set what your computer was like back x amount of days or so.

1st of all stop to use the computer where you delete the file.

Why? because windows may overwrite the deleted data with new files, swap file, etc.

So, pick another computer and browse for the software, open the computer where your file is missing and remove the disk. mount the disk on the computer where software is installed an recover the file.

    good luck

Download "RecoverMyFiles" (portable will do, easy to find). Run a "Complete File Search" for .doc files only.

    If i> u then exit
i deal with data recovery all the time
this is what you need to do
Make you a UBCD4WIN (ulimate boot cd for windows)
Just google it and you will find out how to build your own its really easy
then get the plugin for GDB4NTFS (get data back for ntfs)
Boot to the cd and run GDB
Make sure you have an external harddrive hooked up to your computer via usb of course. Once the GDB is done click copy and select the external and it will save all the files to the external and you will be able to retrive the deleted file. I have recovered data from harddrive that read -1mb using this medthod.
    Good luck bro
