Does google deindex individual pages on a site? Ive been heavily promoting 2 pages on my website using huge link pyramids and 2 small xrumer blasts..and today they were dropped from the index but when I use the site:website.com other pages on my site are still indexed. Is this google readjusting the serps or is this a true deindex? I've been doing SEO for 3 years almost and Ive never seen this. Thanks!

I can't say for certain, but my belief is that each page is treated individually for both PR and sandboxing.

There is a great two part interview with Leslie Rohde last week where he touches on this a bit. http://bit.ly/bfTYzF

can you search google for your url.com/specific page? if its showing up there then your not deindexed, and if they did they would remove the entire domain i believe. could just be the dance if those pages have received heavy promotion
