    Type in Google search

    site:thesite.com

If it does not show then more than likely it has been nixed ;)

I then do a whois search at whorush and see if I can get some some of contact info if there is non on the site itself and request to remove my urls ;)

As far as getting re-indexed I belive all you can do is sit and wait... or just get new blog address and start over

I was dropped from googles index for a month a few years ago. It SUCKED... but they sent me a notification explaining why (mass keyword misspell/spamming). They said it would be back in the index a month later and it was. They also asked me to give up information about where I learned those spamming techniques. I didnt reply to that. Yeah it was rough.

Do a site: and info: query. Search for the domain name itself as well. If nothing is turning up, you my friend have been delisted.

If the domain is important to you, clean up the domain - totally. (Easiest way: replace your site with a basic "white hat" site with original content, no affiliate links, and no funny business.) If you can take down any links pointing to the site (meaning, spammy links) do that. Then cross your heart and promise to Google you will be good, and request reconsideration after putting the domain into webmaster tools.

If the domain isn't massively important, move on to a new one. That is the way the game is played, my friend.

This is a weird thing - went into webmaster tools to see what I was ranking for, done a search and it shows up - but if I use site: - no results...

    WTF
