    Hi everyone,
Just having this question in my mind late night :-
How much deep linking % for a site is consider good ? and how much would it be 'too high' and considered 'un-natural' in the eye of SE, especially the G ??

    Eg :-
    - If a site has 100 pages.
    - All the pages has backlinks from other sites & various IP => Would this be considered as 100% backlinking ? and flagged as 'un-natural' ?

Well, SE like deep linking, but really, how much is too much ?? Or there isn't a guide for this area yet ?

Or we'll just go ALL OUT to get as high/many as possible ?! Like 100+ backlinks to each of the page ?! :D

    Thanks.

"The technology behind the World Wide Web, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), does not actually make any distinction between "deep" links and any other links?all links are functionally equal. This is intentional; one of the designed purposes of the Web is to allow authors to link to any published document on another site. The possibility of so-called "deep" linking is therefore built into the Web technology of HTTP and URLs by default?while a site can attempt to restrict deep links, to do so requires extra effort. According to the World Wide Web Consortium Technical Architecture Group, "any attempt to forbid the practice of deep linking is based on a misunderstanding of the technology, and threatens to undermine the functioning of the Web as a whole"."

The quote in my quote was stated by Tim Bray (2003-09-11). "Deep Linking" in the World Wide Web. W3. Retrieved on 2007-05-30.

I don't think that there is a way to have too many backlinks, it'll just make your site seem more popular. However you do want the sites that are linking to you to have a high PR to improve yours. Correct me if I'm wrong :).

minig, natural linking is what the search engines are after but before you get that far you have to ask yourself what is the most sensible option open to you, if its a brand new website would it be natural if your websites....each page had 100 links to them...of course not you would raise a flag so high they would be all over you, is your anchor text different for each page to match the keyword or have you put in a few mistakes for the search engines.

How many pages do you expect your new site to get indexed straight away? linking in the search engine eyes should take the most natural way and being natural isnt perfect and if you are trying to get a new website indexed with the links very quickly then it just isnt going to work ...take your time and you'll be rewarded

    Hi nicho,
    Thanks !
The age of the sites/domains varies from 1month to 1year+ . They are all blogs. Anchor text for those links are random, mostly consist of phrases to match to title of the post. Thus I wonder if this would be OK ?

All the sites has been indexed in G , I just want to boost up the backlinks for them....well, I sell text links for some of them, and would like to further boost up the PR/link juice.

Yup, PR is just another bullshit from G, but well, there are still many buyer for it. I am still working to bump up my inventory for this.
