There are many sites which provide unlimited space with web hosting like, I found this one when I was just searching the net for new plans and must say that this one is suitable because now my friend is using their service.

    unlimited space hosting

Those "unlimited" plans are far from unlimited. Read the terms of service and quit kidding yourself. How can a hosting company realistically give you unlimited storage?

If you want VPS, then GoDaddy seems to be giving a good option. I have looked at both HostGator, and InMotion, but so far, been unconvinced regarding either option.

If you want a VPS, don't go anywhere near GoDaddy. They are far too expensive and don't perform particularly well. $30 a month for 1 GB RAM, 15 GB disk space and 500 GB bandwidth? Eh, no thanks.

Check out some of the well known providers and deals on LowEndBox - a recent one was giving 1 GB RAM, 30 GB disk space and 1500 GB bandwith for $6.50 a month.

I can vouch for Linode VPS. Top of the line service. More expensive than anything on LowEndBox (Actually if I would have known about LowEndBox when I started out, I may have never looked into Linode.)
