I'm about to start a new campaign, which entails the purchase of gifts. (Getting people to buy me gifts)

The "gifts" that they buy for me are my own created products, coming from my own website.

Each month I will get at least 300 people to buy me gifts costing $30 each, 9000/month.

I am basically deceiving these people to buy me my own gifts without knowing they are my own products.

Will I have any problems with this concerning the law?

Well it is fraud, whether or not you will get caught or whether anyone will do anything about it is a different story.

I don't know how to "wash" it so it's legal, but I have to wonder how you expect to get 300 people/day to care enough about you to give you a $30 gift?

If it's going to get me into trouble, I won't do it. I came up with the idea and pitched it to my boyfriend but he said it's way too black hat. 300 was just a small number, if I wanted I could get 1000, this method is gold, too bad there are difficulties that come along with it. What a mother f*cker!

Now you've got me interested. How are you going to drive so many targets to buy your gifts. Is this live chat porn related? If so, I already have an idea what your thinking.

This is relatively genuis, if you can actuall get these people to buy them...

However it would be considered fraud if you lied about something. IE Duping them into buying them.

There is no law that says people can't buy you gifts really. But it really depends on the context of what you are offering and its viability to the consumer.

If you worked in marketing surely this is the same thing, you are persuading person A to purchase product A which happens to pay your bills. Directly or indirectly.

Without a clearer indication of a senario, it might be hard to fortell how much shit you are likely to get in, if any.

Get some people to jv with you and have these people buy the gifts for your partners.

This method would blow up in the xmas season, if it was 100% legal, I could outsource it and can confidently say I'd get 500-1000 conversions day, the gift they're all buying me are the same, it's one single product and I would pitch them all the same story.

I would be getting these guys to convert through chat and find them everywhere on the net looking for sex, but I am not selling sex. Just preying on them until they pay up.

What are you doing to make all those readers buy you those expensive gifts? Telling them a story so sad and sickening that they want to play God or Romeo to you? Just wondering...

There are a lot of girls or men claiming to be girls doing exactly the same thing on Yahoo. The girl has a large Yahoo group and gives out photos of herself on a regular basis. They have links to sex toy sites where you can buy the girl a gift. Some sex toy sites even provide photos of a girl with the toy to keep the poor sucker hooked. Some of these girls or men pretending to be girls are making 50K on commissions a year or more.

Wouldn't it be funny if this totally backfired and instead of money someone wound up with thousands of dildos?
