    Hi,

    Bit of a background first:
I've did some business with a Indian company a while back and made a deposit for certain services. They assured me that when we finish our business the money will be returned however it has taken a bloody long time. The representative of the company that I had been in contact the whole time started to ignore me (this is after months of good communication) since I asked for my money back.

First they asked me to submit a request of refund ext. Did that two months ago and since then the guy I always talked to ignores my messages and comes back after days of silence with some stupid excuses. I even had to contact other people from the same company to tell them to tell my guy to f-ing answer my messages.

The amount I'm talking about isn't big, however I'm pissed off now and it's more of a principle now.

I would believe that quite a few people on BHW have had similar situations.

    So my question is:

Have any of you ever taken the next steps and involving debt collectors from India? What could be some of the obstacles I would have, costs?
As I mentioned before the amount isn't big $250 but I'm just pissed off and want to show them that f-ing around with people isn't good for business.

    Any advice is most welcome.

    Cheers!

There are international debt collectors but none of them are going to buy a $250 debt. Best to just move on.
