Dear upcoming BST sellers don’t do this - too funny.

So I saw this posted by @Zwielicht Funny story on the latter point, we actually had one guy not too long ago who preemptively attempted to rush the review by threatening us with a negative Buzzfeed article

like seriously this was too funny but don’t do it, also this post is strictly for humour and I wonder what more bizzare replies mods would have listened for bst approvals, ps dont post any bst related question.

ps if its okay with mods can you post more such replies for us?

Well, some BST sellers keep mailing/skype me to post a review even though I paid for the service. I was going to post my review but constant nagging made me not to, as I think my feedback will be biased by that time.

Word to the wise though, if you want someone to review your service give them free copy/discount/something extra, otherwise no one is obliged to write a review for you if they don't feel like it.

All right, I'll share another one with you guys (queue the "this is unprofessional" comments; nobody is being named here).

So there was this one seller who got their thread approved after several rejections (the usual, they weren't reading the rules). After his thread was approved, he didn't promote his thread and thought he could just sit on the approval and the buyers would roll in. After approximately one week, he contacted us saying that he didn't manage to make a sale. Then he started claiming that the marketplace is completely dead, and we're just populating the marketplace with fake sellers and buyers to make it look like we have real sellers and buyers here.

Based on his claims, all of you are just a complex botnet we've been running to trick poor sellers out of $127. He got a refund and left the forum.

no wonder you had covered this part in your guide the importantence of marketing the bst, and what a loss for him. All he had to look at how other old sellers were promoting (signature, please read, email blasts etc) and he had to mirror it. The very fact I like BHW is because what you learn here can be implemented here, all one needs to pay attention

We also get the guys that post promotions in their approval thread as opposed to their live thread that never see the light of day.

We also get guys that fight us to the death about their thread not being compliant (we have since changed the process, or should I say @Zwielicht did, so there are no arguments - not compliant you get a PM from an Admin to the issue) and think we are being biased.

yikes i know you’ll don’t get paid but DD should open a BHW SPA centre for you all but why do sellers do it in unapproved thread dam there should be a thread 50 shades of bst sellers - mistake to avoid

Some of them think the submission thread is live because it works that way on other sites. However, if they read the rules that they 'confirm' they've read after submitting a service, it would tell them it goes into a moderation queue.


Nobody really reads TOS pages, not in-depth at least, so I can understand how this mistake is made.

I won't say much, but there have been quite a few half-hearted threats of suing BHW, even very recently.

I'm not sure I can think of anything on par with the negative Buzzfeed article thread, though. That one is my favourite.

This is the problem with sellers or wannabe one of them... I see people asking a constantly same old question, looking for that answer "yes, you'll get 100,000% ROI"!

I don't give a damn what people said, I became Jr ONLY because of the respect I have for this forum and people that invested hours, days, weeks, months and years typing all kinds of good texts.
You can easily find at least 5 or 10 "methods" that still work today that was shared up to 10 years ago.
Methods, tips and tricks explained in the smallest details.

You simply can not find any other place on the Internet that have something like this.

In one thread you have newbie, you have someone who's banking $100/day and next to him dude who just hit his first million dollars online, all helping each other!
You gotta respect that!

If you are asking about ROI and looking at this forum like some damn HYIP investment system where money will fall from the sky and you'll get 10,000 views hitting your sales thread every day and 100 sales, if possible per hour...
It's an instant failure, it doesn't matter if you/we are on BHW or any other platform, business or whatever.

That mind state is... Instant Killer!
Stop thinking like that!

You're right, there's just a lot of misunderstanding here with how things work, which results in a lot of the problems some sellers face in the marketplace.
