Hi all

Very new girl here and hoping I don't get it wrong!

I have been asked to understand the workings of Do-Follow and whilst searching through pages and pages of Google returns found this site and hope I can learn from within here.

If anyone can direct me to the best location I would be very grateful. I hope I can also offer help to others one area or another - I know lots about gardening ;)

If I am totally in the wrong place please do tell me to close the door quietly on my way out.

Many thanks

Swing by the Whitehat SEO / Blackhat SEO section of the forum, and use the search bar... It's there for a reason. Everything you just mentioned has been tackled COUNTLESS times over. You just need to put in the effort needed to look for it.

Apologies for not figuring it out before asking during my intro - thanks for you help

BHW is like gardening in a way.

We have all of the seeds you need, you just need to plant the seeds, let them grow, and in the end you will eat :D

Basically do follow are sites or links that don't have the no-follow attribute on them.

When a site or a link uses no-follow attribute, they don't pass the link juice and the "trust rank" to the link. If you want to have better results with your link building, look for more do-follow type of links, but it is best to have a mix of do follow and no-follow backlinks to your site. This will make it more natural in the eyes of Google.

Hope this helps :)

another girl maybe a guy confused lmao use the search bar and nobody here will spoonfeed u unless u give up something read read and read the threads and u will learn something

Thank you all for your replies.

Katkoute - I wasn't looking for spooning feeding, merely introducing myself with a brief of what I needed to find out, of which I will do in time. It looks like one needs to know what one is talking about before one is accepted here. Blimey, I'm sorry!
