Facebook, the little country with the 800 million users has taught me some lessons the pass couple days that I did not learn in almost a lifetime. So after 336 sign ups and spending just $35. I can tell people that facebook is a science. If you know what you are doing, you can master it. On June 7, 2012 I tried a small ad, the thing did not gather a single sign up. I spend $10 and just had a couple clicks. I was frustrated. I went into research. Sunday, I decided to try again. This time, I would do a couple things differently and I create a second ad and I was blown away. Not only the rate of sign ups but the science. So I was targeting a simple niche. I loaded a video on an optimize press and then use the power of fb to niche the marketing. I was floored when I noticed that in the first hour, I was getting real sign ups. Now I did not have a shopping cart on the landing page. It was an optin since I will be teaching a series then opening a shopping cart. But to get that crowd was almost unbelievable. The scared part of me said, you getting spam, so I actually went into the aweber account and start looking at the names, and emails to verify. Then as if I was crazy, I went to another of my fb fan pages, put another $35 spending to see who would like the page and today if you look at it, you will see I have 297 likes almost all was from the $35. Now I have tried some SEO services, link wheel and backlinking before but they never improved anything, I never even see the results of the investment. so now with this piece of experiment on FB, I used my copywriting skills and I can say to anyone with doubts, keep plugging away. Success will come soon. I think people who don't know how to set up a campaign get frustrated easily with crowds, you can get people to sign up for anything you set up a good strategy. I might not close all 336 but with 6 people already asking me for the product already, I have already made more than 300% my investment. I sell a product for $297 and the investment was worth every minute.
