So i had this Offline client who was paying 1k$ for a professional website for its upcoming company.

He Was gonna Provide advance cash on 7th previous month!

wanted to make the LOGO by some one else .. i gave all the advice regarding the LOGO and how to website should be

i even made the whole damn layout for him and gave him.

And This person, didnt provide me advance + The LOGO's which he provided was shitty

The person creating the LOGO is a friend of client , and he made a LOGO which was

of the SIZE OF A COMPUTER SCREEN WITH MOON AND HUGE GATES :zx11pisse

cant believe some one can make a LOGO so childish

Unfortunately i lost my cell phone 4 days back, so wasnt in contact.

But this Damn Moron Still dont have Money to Invest in thier own Website and Is telling I'm no more in this project because i wasnt in contact with them??

    I'm SO DAMN PISSED.

I know the domain name which he wanted , Its still AVAILABLE (i didnt buy it because i got the feeling he is unreliable)

It had the COMPANY NAME as [COMPANY.com] :D

The client is a SUPER STUBORN person who is DAMN UNPROFESSIONAL.

This SON of a ***** HAS SUCKED My brains TO THE CORE For a MONTH.

So yeah.. should i buy the domain and DO the honor of giving the BITCHSLAP BACK!?!? :fing02:

P.s : Thinking of selling it to him only. ?

If it looks unprofessional, dont buy it. If you are sure it is all going to go good, then go for it.

PORN linking would not help , The site would be for a Small MOVIE production Company. (Most of the business is offline)

But business would surely be affected when they wont have the TLD's to show off to the Media.

Don't buy it don't fall down on his level. If he call you again after answering call tell him like this. "Excuse me sir I'm busy atm with another project, but if you want my service I will try to squeeze you in my busy schedules for $XX per hour. Now I have to take another call from my current client call me back in a hour or so and take that time to think what you relay want. Have a nice day." Ofc you tell him $XX = price 2x-3x you usually charge per hour.

If he don't call at all just move on and forget about him.

    Best Regards :)

I understand your frustration with the client, but the way you've acted straight afterwards makes me wonder if it was ALL his fault as you both sound like 13 year old children.

Learn your lesson and move on. You win some, you lose some.

i would'nt buy if the client is as ass like you say and stubborn then he will go with another domain name instead of paying you... and i can say this from my personal experience...

i once used to be in the hosting business / domain reg business so i know how these guys think.

Buy the domain. Only going to cost you $8 loss and inconvenience for him worst case.

if the client is in the process of registering the trademark and you have prior knowledge of this fact, once you buy the domain name he'll be able to prove that you registered the domain in bad faith. Once thats established any decent lawyer with cybersquatting history would make quick work of you and you'll be landed with his and your costs.

Chalk it up to experience and make sure you get a contract in future. Freely offered advice and assistance cant be charged for later if you havent agreed a consultancy rate in advance.

Saying that, I'd still send him a hefty bill with a list of charges for the services you redered. Mention on it he ahs 30 days to pay and should payment not be received you'll contact the relevant credit agencies for whatever area you are in and that it may affect his ability to get credit at a later date, blah blah blah... standard boiler plate late payemnt stuff.
try bluffing him into paying you. Also never burn bridges, he may need you in future and you can dictate the terms.

Dont buy the domain. IMO, what he'll do next when everything is done is that he'll file a claim that you need to push to them the domain and the site content otherwise you'll be sued for using their company name. Selfish Mf*ckers
