Is it ATT DSL? If most likely does it all the time - you just haven't noticed since it may only be out for a very small period of time.

Have you tried replacing your router and restarting everything?

I've recently replaced my router after it kept failing as soon as I'd start an senuke campaign. It's like it couldn't handle the volume of outgoing traffic or calls. A real pain in the arse, especially after starting a campaign just before going to bed. New router seems to have put a stop to that though. Also have a look at replacing your adsl filter and how close the router is to wall sockets and electrical points.
