If you're happy with the money you are/could be making with your physical store then yes you probably should quit IM.

What exactly were you doing over the past year that you only earned $500? No offense, but if you're not aiming for passive income, $500 a month can be easily done with a little hard work here and there.

Remember - a few minutes a day will not make you dosh in this world.

I can just tell by the way you are talking that you dont have the passion for this.

you are just another guy who thought he would be rich in a year. With out a real passion you will get no where.

500$ in a year? this is 40$ per month. in eastern europe people are working for 300-400$ at least per month. you should better work as a waiter in a restaurant or in the construction business. you will be doing at least $3-4000 per month in the usa. basically what you need to do is see what can you work offline, what salary can you get, and if you are not making the same money online, then that is absolutely no reason for you to stay...

So....how much were you making on the FIRST 100 blogs? (before you decided to make 100 more?)

    Point is...if it ain't working...STOP doing it!

There's no way you worked 18 hours a day and pulled in $500 for the year. It's just not possible. Unless you think "working" means skimming marketing forums for get rich quick schemes all day.

@ 18 hours a day you could have made a nice living freelancing.

The title of this thread bothers me too. It's almost as if you're blaming the forum for your failures, like just logging in should magically make you money. I might be reading this all wrong but it seems to me you should be questioning your work ethic.

    Thats not true...

It can take an equal amount of effort and time to build a unsuccessful blog/business and a successful one.

The thing to look out for is smart work and not hard work....

Choose what you are comfortable with.. Making 100's of blog wont get you anything. Make one and concentrate on it to improve it..

    Simple formula is
Market research(Find markets u r interested in and have a commercial value)
Keyword research(Get Market samurai from download section Do look at all its videos)-Find golden keywords which have good traffic, easy to rank and pay well
Keyword targeted Articles(Unique)Write up urself or hire a writer
    Regular updated content---
Link building(Download the link builders bible from download section)

Trust me... If you do this and maybe invest the $500 in to articles and link building from an outsourced person.. I see no reason why you can't succeed..

The reason why i took an effort to write this out is coz you have worked hard and willing to work hard!

    Wishing you success..

    Make $$

Now search the forums to read up on each of those

keep learning, keep thinking outside the box

most likely you know what you need to know to do im, you just haven't found your angle yet.

personally, black hat didn't make me consistent income...it was only when i combined a little black hat to my white hat projects that i started seeing things move along.....that and a baby due in 4 months really motivates you to start earning $$ quickly :)

just keep learning...keep trying...don't give up.

    @ the OP -

This is exactly what I thought when I read your post. If you are really working 18 hours per day for 1/2 year, then there is no way that you should only be making $500.

Remember reading forums and ebooks IS NOT making you money. Watching videos IS NOT making money. Coming up with a plan, testing it, tracking, and then tweaking it is the only way to make money.

If you were tracking, then you should have seen that you need to re-think your strategy.

I recommend you re-think your strategy, and then start tracking your results as you execute it. Also, I recommend you DO NOT buy/download any more money making products until you are making money.

I also recommend you DO NOTHING ELSE until you have completed every one of your daily tasks for your business. That means don't check your emails, don't login into BHW, nothing else.

If after one year you have only figured out how to make $500.00, then yes your time can be more profitable elsewhere.

Only about 2% are able to make money online.

This is good advice but what people are leaving out is that you will only do as well if you work hard on the idea of succeeding. With no action comes no reward.

work smart and not hard. If you keep on working on the same thing for 18 hours and getting no where. Change it...

and most importantly don't give up.

I have been looking at ebooks and get rich schemes(if u will) and they are all some dude trying to make a buck and so are you. Where do you jump in? I think you(I) i have to identify a product, a market, and adopt a plan to execute it.

Oblivion thanks for the reminder to work smart not hard. I have been coding web apps for over a decade and looking for my golden ticket. I made a decision to code everything from scratch bc all the canned code seemed to be 95% perfect, 5% cant use it. Your reminder is in line with my direction change from coding everything myself, to taking advantage of the tools that are out there and THEN I can reply on my skillset when I hit a roadblock.

Back on topic, dont give up OP, you even said midway that giving up is not an option anyway. You have to take the info you learned and see the aggregate, formulate a plan and execute it. Dont spend a week running an idea that came to you in a minute, take a week to decide what exactly you want to promote. Dont start right away..

try to think about the execution not the result. All this I say to myself as well. I am still broke as fuck and I have been trying for years as well. Give up? NEVER. But take an honest break.. if you try to force the issue and end up frustrated like you are, you wont get anywhere. Them chineese finger handcuffs are a perfect analogy. You try to force it and its never going to happen unless you break it, work smart like oblivion said and you will see better results. GL!

LMAO at people who are laughing at him for only making 500 a year, I was trying for 6 months with an affiliate site for weight loss and I didn't make a red cent
