Lucky for you OP exact match domains aren't worth all that much extra anymore. So you didn't miss that much.

    .xyz domains are peasant domains.

When have you ever heard this conversation:

"Hey Brad, have you seen this website called whateveryouwant.xyz?"

It sounds dumb when you say it out loud and that's why they'll never become mainstream. Its just for cheap internet marketers.

These are used for churn and burn campaigns. No sane person would build real site out of xyz domain :)

Even for churn and burn, you have less chances of someone trusting your site for a difference of a couple of dollars. Doesn't make much sense to me.

What keyword were you searching for? I have tons of xyz domain names and may be willing to give you one for free if I have your keyword in my portfolio.

Maybe so, but is it 10x less trust? 100x less trust? 1000x less trust? In June, these domains have cost anywhere from $.01 to $1. You would need to lose a lot of conversions to make up that difference.

fine for churn & burn. Fine for link building schemes. Trust? Title and description will provide that. Typical users don't care about the TLD. I wouldn't use xyz for a shop or otherwise whtehat site but can't pass up the deal. I suppose hyphens are fine.

gTLDs. They're great. You can still get 1 word domains. Here: https://instantdomainsearch.com/gTLDs/

Nobody's buying them so they're giving them away for almost free. Snagged one to use as a URL shortener.

They're as good as any other and I assume that they're probably a bit better in some cases since the extensions are themselves keywords.

I agree with you, and in the limited testing I have done users don't care about the TLD whatsoever.

I think like organizations and governments are using. Org and .gov in the future businesses will be using the TLD that matches their Niche for example bars will be using .Pub car dealerships will be using .auto and lawyers will be using .Lawyer

If any one would like to purchase, blackhatworld.xyz, (hint, Diamond Damien) let me know!

As an intermediary, I can get this domain locked in at a considerable price reduction, BUT! You MUST act NOW! The clock is ticking.

I will take PayPal, as long as you pay as a gift. I will also take Western Union, no bitcoins, sorry.

    Price? $125k, plus a 4.293% processing fee.
