Hey everyone. I'm a long time forum stalker and Jarvee user that has a personal landscape photography Instagram account with 40k followers. (Down from about 45k) I used to use the f/u method and likes with Jarvee to build my base, but lately f/u results in bans and the liking method does not yield much growth. I'm actually finding that it just helps slow the loss of followers. I have edited about 55 quality pictures and want to get a plan in place for how to stretch them out until I can edit more so build up. What suggestions do you all have? I would say that my budget is about $500 before 2021 and I'm only interested in a real follower base since I do product ads for various companies. I'd like to hear any and all suggestions! :)

Thanks in advance

You should interact with your community that's the fastest way to increase followers in photography niche.

I must say that 40k is a nice number of followers.

I think you should follow as less as possible other channels in order to be able to comment on as many related photos as well.
Using other photographer's photos will encourage smaller photographers to submit their photos that you can edit and repost

I like the idea. Appreciate it.

Use Instagram reels, competitions with cash prizes.

A great hack to ensuring the widest reach is to try and use all the new features which a social network launches and the newest additions on Instagram are the live and reels. Try to make the most of both the features, collab with other creators and go live with them. Show in some behind the scenes of your photography shoots, run a giveaway and the options are endless.

F/u works if you do it manually on your device. As soon as you add ig credentials in a bit, you risk the account and hence the birth of mother/child method

At this number for followers I would try also Shoutout for Shoutout: Find people in your niche that have same number of followers or aprox yours and ask them to exchange posts where you gave one to another shoutouts for your accounts. Also use a very good hashtag strategy so you can hit the explore page
