Where do we currently stand for changing facebook page names and/or merging pages with different names? Nothing I've had work before or found posted on here is working today. I have a 'real' business page that recently changed their name and made a new one, and I'm having a heck of a time getting the old page name changed so they can merge them. Facebook denied their initial request and they've changed so many rules lately I don't even know what the legit requirements are right now. I'm down for a questionably legal workaround if there's still any that work...

Unfortunately that method is nearly always denied - and was for this page - if the names are dissimilar. To get that to work consistently, you need to change the name of the original page to match the new page - and for some reason, even dozens of suggestions plus my super editor status hasn't changed the name on a page with less than 1500 likes. I feel like I'm either overlooking something obvious (entirely possible) or they've changed the (undocumented) rules behind name changes again...
