Is it possible to know what kind of cultures the various mods are from, without disclosing their usernames? It would be easier to know what is okay and what may not be okay if we could just check up and know how to post based on different backgrounds having different interpretation of the rules.

To a mod from place A may be okay with something a member said, but to a mod from place B, it may be something that is rule breaking.

To get an idea of what is okay and what would be problematic. If things aren't going to be standardized, then it would be nice if we could be told what things we should go look up to better understand how to use a diverse site like BHW.

We don't operate on a culture level. We operate by a set of predefined rules . . . It's that simple.

But some people are getting infractions and bans for things that may be okay where they are from and where some of the mods are from, but then when a mod from another place comes along they have been getting infractions and bans.
Would just looking at UCLA-Berkley guides be enough to prevent someone from getting further infractions and bans ?

Simple Advice: When in doubt, ask a mod AHEAD of time.
