To be fair i have lost 90% of the money I invested, lost to much to sell now, what is remaining I just have to hope that one of them will pick up at some point and cut my losses lol

I think you represent the majority. Most of the people still holding crypto are probably in the same position.

I'm going to request that we rename the Crypto subforum to "Let's Talk About Crypto and Get Emotional as Opposed to Discussing Pros, Cons, Numbers and Charts".

Not sure that will fit on anything but the amount of emotion that arises when a crypto thread gets going is Ripley's Believe it Not worthy.

I suggest that people who write about crypto have to start their post with "once upon a time" and finish it with "The End"

And include a couple of screenshots of charts and earnings / profits plus a picture of their Lambo ?

And the picture of the girlfriend that looks like it's been scanned out of a porn mag.

Blockchain and cryptocurrencies (or at least Bitcoin instead of cryptocurrencies) definitely have promising future, ICOs? Some of them might be success and most of them a huge scam but it's all about time; Rome wasn't built in one day.

Firstly, grouping all cryptocurrencies together and thinking they're all the same is narrow-minded. Secondly, calling any of the major cryptos ponzi schemes shows you have absolutely no idea what a ponzi scheme is, or how cryptocurrencies function, even on the most basic level.

A ponzi scheme requires constant investments from new victims in order to pay the original investors and keep it running. Otherwise it collapses because it can't maintain the insanely high rate of promised return.

None of the major cryptos match any of those specifics. No original investor in Bitcoin is promised anything, certainly not a certain % of return. And Bitcoin does not require investments to function. It's a form of digital currency, not an investment promise. There is no central body controlling it and making promises to people.

In fact, it's quite possible the furthest thing from a ponzi scheme. It's a decentralized digital currency. I don't see how it matches anything ponzi related

I think it's new type of ponzi scheme, not desribed yet in economic books. Ponzi without chef but still early investors can manipulate market and destroy it.
The most dangerous thing is low market size, even for bitcoin. So holders of the biggest wallets, can pump it for years using cash earned on constant raise. Buy articles in medias, SEO, TV, using buzz, buy politicans and then... bump. Someone sold 100 mln bitcoins and market collapse. Then again and again.

On the big market, even guys like Madoff or whole countries like Greece cannot destroy economy.
On bitcoin market it's possible and all speculants are anyonymous, without any regulations.

I love it!! All these crypto hipsters that came when it was at 14k selling their house, taking a new mortgage while they had a family to provide for and then act like they discovered the new thing cuz of the MSM and being all arrogant and shit.

Where are they now?

I remember seeing one of the now banned members who promoted his Crypto discord group post a pic of a Lambo... the car looked nice but the picture sure looked like it was taken in the ghetto.

Upside down thinking if the pic was real as you would buy a quality non depreciating asset that was nice well before you would buy a depreciating asset that was nice if you had any economic common sense.

Two of them that I know started their own little outside groups to build up their following.

One is completely dead... no action at all for a good 3 or 4 months at least.

The other one I know about is not only because the one person that posts in it is the one that started it.

I've heard basketball kid is doing alright for himself. He's chief cheese slice man at Maccys. I've heard he's training up to be the guy who turns the burgers over. Who knows, a couple of years down the line he may be working the tills, handling all that worthless outdated fiat shit.

We often forget during all this manipulation that BTC could become the native currency of the internet one day. I don't believe it could replace fiat though.
A lot of people invest just because of that blind faith. Check BTC reddit. There are enough BTC evangelists to keep it alive for quite a while.

Have you checked in on popcorn boy aka XVGwhale? He ain't doing to well right now. He still thinks he's an influencer. Too bad most of his friends got exposed as being fake accounts. My favorite was one I helped expose. An account with 20k very engaged followers that was using a picture of Marilou Bélanger as it's profile and banner. Acting like a non-english speaking Instagram model is now an english speaking crypto trader. Gethafuckouttahere.

Exactly, we've got all those services right here in the marketplace. Everything you need to pump a shitcoin XVG/TRX-style is right here. Fuckit, let's make a shitcoin. BHWcoin. It'll be the worst best idea ever.

I'm going to request that we rename the Crypto subforum to "Let's Talk About Crypto and Get Emotional as Opposed to Discussing Pros, Cons, Numbers and Charts".
Would you prefer it to be the "Let's Use Marketplace Services To Pump and Dump Shitcoins" subforum? ;)

Bitcoin is the only price that matters in U$

All the others are based on BTC

You continue to miss the point of this thread.
As a whole, digital currency hit a low. BTC barely changed, ETH was the largest contributor to the drop. ETH is a independent alt coin from BTC.

Since you have BTC tunnel vision allow me to share a secret.... BTC is in a government induced COMA!
It will never reach 100k. No more Lambos , John McAfee will have to eat his own dick.

If you didn't get out before "futures" were approved you're fucked.

Unfortunately interest in crypto is plain dead. Lets face it there has been no mass adoption and no one even knows what 99% of the tokens even do!
Yeah, cause phones were used everywhere 10 years after they were invented. Same with the internet, everyone was on Facebook from Day 1!
Do you understand anything about the fundamentals of Bitcoin? Ever researched it? It IS internet money. Internet money without an intermediary. And even MORE than that.
99% of tokens were moneygrabs or outright scams, they really do not matter. I'm not a BTC maximalist, I just did weeks upon weeks of research and one thing is clear for me. As long as BTC doesn't get outlawed globally, it will get it's place in the modern economy. Even outlawed it will still hold value, but that's totally out of the question anyway.

Have patience guys. If you got in to make a quick buck and now you're 70-80% underwater, it doesnt mean BTC is garbage. Also, you'll most likely make your money back, it might just take a couple years, learn about market cycles. :)

If you believe ANY government will allow a unregulated digital currency to over value their own fiat please share your dealer's phone number. At least something positive can come from your delusion.
