What is deemed Blackhat, is entirely dependent upon the TOS of the company in question.
Im not sure what escrow considers blackhat, but as long as you arent lying to the buyer, is there a reason you cant use escrow, and then put the money into crypto?

you can probably find someone trusted in a crypto forum. Just make sure to discuss the fee before the transaction, and ALWAYS USE a multi-sig wallet to do the transaction. Because there have been lots of those crypto scams.
