Has anyone here successfully obtained crypto certification for an affiliate Google Ads account before?

I’m a bit stuck because Google usually requires legal business information, licenses, or registration documents related to the crypto product. But as an affiliate, I’m only promoting the product and do not directly own the platform.

I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share their real experience.

Back in 2024 I used to approved many crypto ads accounts as compare to today where monthly 1 account get approved because policy keep striking the process and becoming hard for publishers and advertisers
Yeah, the main issue now is that Google Ads requires the email domain to match the platform’s domain. How are you handling that?

Around 3 months ago, I submitted nearly 1,000 applications, but only 2 or 3 got approved. The process has become much harder for publishers and advertisers.

Google's crypto ad certification is a mess for affiliates. they want legit business docs for something you're just linking to. unless you have a direct partnership agreement with a licensed exchange that clearly states your affiliate role and they're willing to provide their business registration, you're probably gonna have a tough time

From what I’ve seen, Google is usually strict on crypto and most approvals are tied to the actual advertiser or platform owner, not just affiliates. In many cases, you’ll need proper certification linked to the landing page and verifiable business details that match what’s being promoted.

It's very hard to get certificates, that's why most people prefer to resort to cloaking

Can you pls share some information like what geo you run and do you use website or an app?
Maybe I know how to help you

I’d be careful here — affiliate certification is where most people get stuck.

  1. The advertiser/legal entity usually needs to match the certified crypto provider.
  2. Your landing page and disclosures must clearly show the affiliate relationship.
  3. Check whether both the crypto product and your target GEO are eligible before applying.

Which crypto platform and GEO are you trying to promote because that plays a major role.
