    Doesn't matter. If enough people conserve enough energy, they'll increase the price to make up the difference.

    You are then locked into a situation where you now use less than you used to, but pay the same, and if you go to your old usage, you'll pay more.

    So, your choices are either grow increasingly more uncomfortable and accept it, or pay more.

    We're in an era where we could be living in a wonderland. The reasons why we don't are pathetic and fabricated.
