Hello everyone. I have been doing SEO for my own purposes since 2002. I first started with $20. Over the years since then I have earned hundreds of thousands, easily several million and generated far more than that in raw revenue. I started in ecommerce, had excellent success, then moved into affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing made me between $50K-$100K+ per month profit for several years, but I knew my niche was due to eventually collapse (and it did this past year). Before it did though I again got back into ecommerce and launched new projects. Long story short now own/run several websites generating over $100K/mo total. I am doing quite well but my big hand-over-foot money is gone - and I want it back. I now find myself being on the outside of the cutting edge in SEO and being fed-up with big G's practices which have made my tried and true white hat methods all but obsolete. Despite this, I still rank many niche websites for mildly competitive keyword phrases using white hat methods, but it is not enough excitement OR cash flow. My focus on ecommerce and everything that comes along with it has made me complacent when it comes to SEO. I find myself at a crossroads and I realize that no longer am I willing to play G's game by their rules only to lose (or for a gentle pat on the back). Building heavyweight ecommerce sites is extremely hard work and takes a lot of time just to maintain current levels without expensive ads. I am an internet marketer at heart, I want to get back to that. I lived and breathed it for years but it seems I fell into believing SEO was dead for awhile now. It's time I up my game and blast through the glass ceiling imposed on me due to my dedication to doing things "right". Now I have the resources. I have the ability. I have the drive. I have 10+ years of experience under my belt. I have made a full time living online and very comfortably since I was barely 20. But I am here today to learn a new way and etch a new chapter in my stone. I need the excitement of storming the search engines back along with the $$$ that comes with it. I became the teacher but in doing so lost my way, now I come here to you as the student. I have seen this forum for many years and gleaned tidbits here and there, but now I am all in. I hope to meet people here that I can share my expertise with, learn from, and cooperate with.
