I'm an 18 year old working on a finance degree. I'm from the US, but I've moved to Europe to study for cheap tuition and adventure. I'm on campus for at most 2 hours a day. The course load is really light, so I just study for exams a few days before and do fine. That leaves me with a whole lot of time to do whatever the hell I want. I've started an online business before; I did $500 a day, but it rode on the back of a trend which has since died. I've started 5 or 6 ventures since, but all have largely failed. Well I wanted to rethink the entire process and try something new. As an American living in Europe, what do you think of this plan? 1. Take trains around Northern Italy, travel around, get into crazy situations just for the hell of it, meet cool people, have fun experiences. Film said experiences and make YouTube videos. 2. Slowly but surely build up an audience for said videos. Start testing the market with affiliates / my own products geared towards my demographic. 3. Profit. If anyone has ever tried starting a legit YouTube channel, let me know how it went. I'd love any tips or suggestions before I embark on this journey.
