I am just curious, is there anyone here know much about credit card merchants. I had a few questions, I"m hoping someone can offer me some advice.

  • Does anyone now of a high risk merchant to use for re-bills. It will for for Acai and Colon offers?
  • What will generally cause a charge back?

I use merchant warehouse and they are awesome. They aren't high-risk I don't think. If you need high-risk for some reason, maybe try menexis. They both have an A+ rating with the BBB. I haven't used menexis personally, but merchant warehouse is great.

A chargeback would be caused by someone not being happy with their purchase. It could be for several different reasons. If you are being honest and telling them everything up-front(benefits/costs/etc.), then you shouldn't have many chragebacks. Good luck.

who ever you go with, one thing to remember about high risk merchants. They don't last. Having dealt with lots of merchants in my career. Basically a high risk merchant has two ways to operate. 1) go hard move the money and expect to be shutdown in a few months a year at best. 2) be very hard on their clients and shut them down at the slightest sniff of a problem.

The best strategy is to have a few accounts for high risk goods ready to go. Don't start billing until you have 3 in place, so you can switch when the first goes down or shuts you off.
